What are barre classes?
Barre classes are body-weight workouts that combine pilates and functional strength training. Classes are designed to help you build strength from your core. With high-reps and low-impact movements, barre challenges anyone looking to fine-tune their muscles – no dance experience is required.

What to Expect
Each week we will run 5 of Barre Base's signature barre workouts + a targeted core and upper-body session. These workouts are designed to strengthen and tone your entire body.
Each week we will follow:
• 5 Classic Barre Classes
• 2 Targeted Pilates Workouts for Core + Upper Body
Workouts range from 20-25 minutes.

What you will need
We keep things simple. All exercises can be done without props. However, you will have the option to use a Pilates Ball for some of the workouts.

Your teacher
Rosa is the founder of Barre Base, established in 2015 in Dunedin, New Zealand, where she continues to run a busy, successful studio alongside raising her family.
With over 15 years of teaching experience, Rosa brings together her background in dance, sport, barre and yoga to create classes that are dynamic, intelligent and mindful. Her approach is grounded in real-life experience and focused on helping people build strength, confidence and consistency in how they move and feel.
